Hi everyone!

I’d like to thank you for your time in reading this! As you may know, I run Swindle Tournaments, Swindle Team Events, and KFPL. It’s a lot, but I love this community and I’m so thankful for all of the help that I get from so many of you in doing this. As a show of thanks and to help your 2023 scheduling, I wanted to spell out my plans for these three discords in 2023. As always, I want to hear your feedback (discords are hyperlinked for each):

So without further ado here are my goals for the new year in KeyForge:

Swindle Tournaments:

1. I will begin a regularly scheduled league that focuses on the Moirai Format. It will have a regular season in group stages with a single elimination playoff. My focus here is easy game scheduling, format/schedule predictability, and tracking player win/loss/deck choice data over time (What is Moirai?)

2. I will continue the Swindle Badges until we are through all of the houses at some point in 2024.

Swindle Team Events

1. I will run a Swindle Tetrad Event to begin our 2023. Swindle Team Events will always be a place to wildly vary our formats and play high level experimental KeyForge. (What is Swindle Tetrad?)

2. I will continue format development to bring you new, exciting and weird KeyForge experiences.

KFPL

1. I will finish running the qualifier events (league and individual tournaments). In addition, there will be a “last minute qualifier” process(qualification and league info here)

2. I will run KFPL Season 5 as outlined in the KFPL league document. (qualification and league info here)

3. Games within the league will be streamed with a donation link to contribute to the overall prize pool for the KFPL winners. In other words, I’ll be expanding the degree to which KFPL can showcase the best KeyForge in the world and the degree to which we can reward our best players for their hard work and performance.
